I am delighted to be able to report that The Postcard Project Chicago is not a complete bust. TWO of the postcards that I sent have reached their international destinations, despite my not using the right stamp. ;o)
Steven wrote back to tell me he and his family had received the postcard, but that it was lucky that he knew some English because Québec City is largely Francophone, or French-speaking. He also sent some beautiful images of Québec, which makes me want to visit more than ever.

Kauã and Bruna from Australia actually sent me a picture of themselves holding the postcard, which was amazing! (See below--aren't they gorgeous?) And they promised to send me a postcard from Australia, which even my 14-year-old son thought was “cool,” which is saying a lot.

We are all interconnected, and there are so many good people in this world.
If you received a postcard from me and happen to be doing a little online research, please be assured that:
This is not a scam.
I will not be asking you for any money.
I will not post any information about you besides your first name (unless you ask me not to, in which case, I will not at all).
I am simply wanting to reach out and create more connection in our world, and to inspire others to do the same.
This is a picture that my sister took of my son and I on a vacation to Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado; it's one of my favorites. My son was 7 at the time, and now he's 14, taller than me, and about to graduate from 8th grade. How time flies!

Wishing you all a beautiful day!
